Willie PikeWillie has cooked for many distinguished guests and dignitaries, including the Royal Family, but he maintains that his greatest challenge was cooking for 400 of his peers at the Craft Guild of Chefs National Chef’s Award … the equivalent of the Culinary Oscars!

Willie was a founder member of the successful Scottish Culinary Team and is a true ambassador for Scottish produce devising dishes and menus which are cooked and judged against the top competing countries in the world including USA, Canada and France. The Scottish Culinary Team are now ranked by the industry in the world’s top five.

In his role with Sodexho, Willie’s primary focus was to support the key clients across the country. The new Scottish Parliament at Holyrood represented the pinnacle of Sodexho’s business in Scotland and had to be the benchmark for world class quality and innovation in the style of food and service. Willie is an accomplished culinary demonstrator who enjoys sharing his
skills and has featured at many food shows and exhibitions as well as at four of the highly regarded Skills for Chefs conferences at Sheffield University.
Many recipes, dishes and articles of his have been featured regularly in Cost Sector Catering, Caterer and Hotelkeeper and Catering in Scotland magazines as well as featuring his skills on national television.

As a world class chef, Willie modestly describes his cooking as "A solid foundation of balanced taste and flavor with an innovative twist.
