Why not have fun and impress your mum and dad with this great and simple recipe :-
Mars Bar Cake
Ingredients
1 Mars Bar, 1 Cup Rice Crispies, 1 dessert spoonful of Golden syrup, 1 dessert spoon butter or margarine
50 gms cooking Chocolate
Method
1. Chop up the mars bar and place in a bowl along with the syrup and butter / margarine.
2. Place the bowl in the microwave and heat no longer than 10 seconds at a time to melt stirring each time.
3. Place the rice crispies in a separate bowl and pour over the melted mars bar mixture.
4. Stir to mix together and place in a suitable tray and level off approx 25mm high.
5. Allow to cool and set.
6. Chop the chocolate and melt in a bowl in the microwave and spread on top of the mars bar cake.
7. Allow to set and cut into neat portions. Enjoy!!
